PreK 4
Mrs. Jan Roe & Mrs. Vivian Perez
My name is Janith McVea-Roe. I was born in West Virginia but educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School system. I sang in the school choir and played softball.
I attended DC Teacher's College, first selecting to study psychology then changed my major to biology. I welcomed the challenge that this field offered. I also attended Prince George's Community College with coursework in early childhood education.
I have taught Pre-Kindergarten for 18 years. Twelve of those have been here at St. Philip the Apostle School and the previous 6 were at Happy Daycare Center in Clinton, MD . I am involved in a summer camp program in the area also.
My hobbies include gardening, collecting and watching vintage movies and tv shows. Also, writing stories, playing tennis and walking.
