Ms. Monica Watkins
My name is Monica R. Watkins and I am the 4th grade teacher, here at St. Philips. I am a product of the Washington, DC and Prince Georges County Public School Systems and I have been involved in education for the last 7 years.
I attended the University of Maryland, College Park where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration and Management. I have over eighteen years of combined experience in Administrative Management and Education that has provided me a wealth of skills that has resulted in a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator. I have a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every student.
In my freetime, I am member of the Toastmasters International Club, Notary of Prince Georges County, Maryland and enjoy the theatre, traveling, vintage and progressive jazz.
